2D crack delamination in composites

Delamination and debonding, initiated by manufacturing defects or damage created during the operation in structural composites, may span all around the perimeter, constantly modifying the size of the crack front. This 2-dimansional fracture condition has not been sufficiently investigated in the past, since the majority of works focused on 1-dimension crack propagation.
